Finch & Barker currently focuses on dog supplements and dental care, not complete dog food. Our approach starts with a simple rule: choose the complete diet first, then add a separate wellness product only when its purpose, label and serving directions fit the individual dog.

Complete nutrition comes first

A chew, powder, topper or dental product cannot replace a complete and balanced diet. Your dog still needs food suited to their life stage, body condition, activity, health and veterinary plan. Treats and extras should stay within the daily calorie allowance.

If vomiting, diarrhea, weight loss, itching, pain or appetite changes are driving a food change, speak with your veterinarian before rotating ingredients at random. A therapeutic diet is part of medical care and should be selected for the diagnosed condition.

How Finch & Barker products fit

Mushroom Chews combine functional mushrooms with turmeric extract for everyday adult wellness support. They are served separately according to the weight-based label and are not complete food or treatment.

Cool Mint Dog Dental Spray supports an at-home oral-care routine. It does not provide nutrition and does not replace brushing, dental exams or professional treatment below the gumline.

Check the ingredient, amount and purpose

Before giving any extra, confirm what it contains, how much your dog receives and why you are using it. Avoid wild mushrooms, unverified human gummies, xylitol, concentrated essential oils and products with unclear directions. Ask your veterinarian first when your dog takes medication, has a chronic condition, is pregnant or nursing, or is preparing for surgery.
